Home care supports the needs of an individual so he or she can remain at home. There are many scenarios where this can prove to be beneficial. Hourly nursing or skilled visits ease the transition from hospital to home and have been shown to significantly reduce hospital readmissions. Home care can also allow a patient with a chronic condition or disability to remain safely in the comfort of home rather than living in a long-term facility. CommandCare can provide nurses, home health aides, and therapists for pediatric through geriatric patients.
Home care services may be covered by commercial insurance. CommandCare accepts Aetna, Cigna, Horizon BCBSNJ, and workers’ compensation insurance. We can work with your payer to verify benefits eligibility, determine levels of coverage, and obtain the necessary authorizations to provide care as per physician’s orders. CommandCare also accepts private pay by credit card or check, and many long-term care insurance policies cover nursing or personal care services.
CommandCare carefully screens each employment application upon receipt. If a candidate is deemed eligible, we perform an in-depth personal interview, verify work and education history, and perform criminal background checks, reference checks, and TB/health screenings. Candidates must pass a stringent written test, undergo a skills demonstration assessment, and then participate in a thorough orientation process. After being hired, each employee will receive ongoing training and supervision, and must successfully perform annual in-services and skills assessments.
CommandCare understands the importance of feeling trust and confidence in the caregivers in your home. Our team goes above and beyond by ensuring that each professional has the experience and skills needed for a specific client, as well as the disposition to put the client at ease. Whatever your needs and preferences, CommandCare will work to accommodate you. And if for any reason you do not feel your assigned caregiver is the best match, we will find a replacement. All CommandCare employees are insured and bonded.
Hospitals, nursing homes, schools, and other entities can significantly reduce costs by obtaining healthcare professionals through a staffing firm. Not only does CommandCare allow facilities to maintain flexibility in staffing and avoid over- or under-staffing from directly hiring employees, but we also provide savings by handling costly recruitment and onboarding on behalf of the facility. CommandCare offers direct placement of qualified healthcare personnel, long- and short-term contracts, temporary-to-permanent placement, and last-minute staffing to accommodate employee absences and sudden increases in admissions.
After your needs are determined, a Service Agreement and fee schedule will be provided by CommandCare for your review and approval, and once fully executed, services will be invoiced on a weekly basis.
As soon as your request for coverage is received, the CommandCare team begins working to fill your open position(s) as quickly as possible. This includes 24-hour service and support, 7 days a week. We will keep you updated on the status of your request, and once confirmed, you can rest assured that qualified healthcare professionals will arrive at your facility promptly, with the experience needed to meet your needs.
